Si, a parte che come dice il tizio Hennigan non ha probabilmente detto tutta la verità li, nel senso che vien da pensare che se fosse stato quello il pacchetto richiesto dai Bulls, la trade si sarebbe fatta...evidentemente li ha detto una mezza verità e i Bulls probabilmente han chiesto anche uno fra Payton e Gordon (se non tutti e due magari senza Hezonja).

Però siamo oggettivi. Nella gara di Chicago, Wade ha ricevuto due liberi su una spinta di DMC che neanche ha sentito. Lui perse il contatto col pallone prima di schiacciare. Risultato, due punti regalati e gara persa dei Kings.


Ieri la canotta di DMC si è allungata, non ha importanza se il centro abbia subito o meno il contatto, il fallo era palese e gli arbitri hanno semplicemente ignorato il fatto.


Questo non può essere giustificato perché alla fine della fiera trovo discutibile che un arbitro non fischi perché chi subisce il fallo è uno lamentoso come demarco. Nella storia NBA ci sono stati tanti rompicogl......sul parquet.


Riguardo il tecnico beh, è stato un fesso, mi limito a questo, doveva mordersi la lingua anche se posso capire la frustrazione. Insomma oltre al danno anche la beffa.

The most controversial snippet I posted is clearly the Butler trade. It is my opinion, as well as everyone else on the Magic board, that he was holding something back here. You don't use the exact phrase "a King's ransom" to describe a package and then write Fournier, Hezonja, and 2017 First on the board....the two don't add up. We think that Aaron Gordon was/is part of that package and he was just holding back. If that truly was all Chicago was asking, it would have been accepted already.

As far as the core, I wouldn't look at Vuc as the detriment to the offense. It is clearly the fact that we get 0 offense from Payton and AG. Harris was traded to open up room for AG and because Harris had fully developed. Harris was not in the long term plans....we were a 20 win team with his offense and we haven't gotten any worse without him.

Hennigan said that once they saw that they were not going to be able to trade for a true #1 scorer or sign one in FA....they had to go the other direction. He used a stat along the lines of "Top 10 defenses make the playoffs 90% of the time" and felt that by getting Vogel, Ibaka, and Biyombo to go along with Elf & AG, that would equal a Top 10 defense....which is a very reasonable thought. For some reason, it just has not come together on that end.

All together, I think people are overreacting to the negative comments he made. The team is playing awful right now and he wasn't afraid to point out their deficiencies or weaknesses....I respect the hell out of that. If you are in the NBA and you hear that your GM called you mentally weak....if you let that affect you...well, guess what? You are mentally weak. If you are affected by your GM twisting the "Super Mario" nickname to "Pooper Mario" because you have been playing like $h!t...then you shouldn't be in the league.

Wow...I have to say, that was a great event. That Hennigan is not the person you see giving interviews on TV. Super candid and not afraid to talk about anything. Very friendly and seemed like a genuine guy.

Highlights...

-He (playfully) called Hezonja "Pooper Mario"...but all together was very critical of him. We drafted him because of the guys we were considering drafting at that slot, he was the only one that could shoot. He loosely compared Mario to JJ, saying that in year 2, JJ couldn't crack the rotation either.
-Of all the moves he has made, trading JJ would be the only one he would second guess....but it mainly seemed like the regret came from the feedback he has gotten from fans. He said of any move he has made, fans were more upset about trading JJ than anyone else.
-He was very critical of our offense and said that we have to improve at the 1 & 3 (Elf & Gordon) from the offensive perspective. He says he has seen solid progress from those two but not the jump that they were expecting them to take.
-We went the direction we did (Ibaka & Biyombo) because it was clear that we had no offense. They felt with Vogel + Biyombo + Ibaka we could compensate for the offense by having a top tier defense.
-Vogel is still finding himself with this team. One thing that stood out to me was that Henny mentioned that Vogel has a tendency to try and make everyone happy. He wants to make sure everyone gets their burn. I don't think anyone liked the sound of those comments.
-No one is untouchable. If we can improve, anyone can be had.
-We literally went team by team and talked about the players that are available. The best players on the market right now are Dragic. Butler, Melo, and Gallo.
-We are actively exploring trades for Dragic & Butler.
-He said that the Bulls are asking for a "King's Ransom" for Jimmy Butler. That "King's Ransom" was explained to be Evan Fournier + Mario Hezonja + 2017 First Round Pick.
-Vuc for Dragic rumors are not true.
-When he reached out to Kevin Durant in the offseason, Durant said we would need to go get Jimmy Butler.
-We are currently building around Elf + Gordon + Vuc. If a better block presents itself, he would shift course but as of now...those are the core guys.
-Trading Dipo did really come down to choosing between Fournier & Dipo. The deal breaker for Dipo was his shooting, low BBIQ, and inability to consistently finish at the rim. Spending 45 million at the SG position on two guys that aren't franchise players didn't add up to him.
-He squashed concerns that Biyombo's contract wouldn't be a moveable asset...said that if they needed to or wanted to, it is something that could be moved fairly easily.
-He did seem to think that having Vuc, Ibaka, and Biyombo was hindering Gordon's development.
-He also thought that Vuc's regression on offense this year is due to Ibaka and Biyombo. He said that Vuc is mentally soft and is rattled by guys competing for his PT.

Più probabilmente lo ritiene un normale contatto di gioco, ritenendo ininfluente una trattenuta del genere su un gigante come Cousins, oppure ha visto che Cousins non prende palla sostanzialmente perché il passaggio era un po' troppo in la, e lui già in ritardo. A velocità normale, è questo che si percepisce. Ho tentato di dare una spiegazione, non di giustificare l'arbitro.

Ma l'arbitro con il 39, quello che si vede di spalle nella rimessa dei Kings, che sta guardando proprio in quella direzione, mi spiegate come fa a non vedere e a fischiare Wade che tiene per la maglia Cousins? Non mi interessa giustificare minimamente DMC, testa disabitata anche solo per la scelta di farsi tutto il campo per tirare da 3 e per le sceneggiate che fa dopo, ma si vede benissimo che ha la testa girata proprio in quella direzione, è impossibile che non veda

Su wikipedia alla pagina dei record della NBA danno Rasheed con 304, e detiene anche il record per singola stagione con 41

Vero, l'ho riguardata con più attenzione, ho giusto il dubbio che una trattenuta del genere su un gigante come Cousins possa aver avuto influenza. Il passaggio era un po' troppo in la, e lui già in ritardo. Ma la poca intelligenza è proprio il fatto di non saper stare zitto in tutte quest situazioni: non l'hanno fischiato, basta, la protesta non ti renderà il fallo, e se continui imperterrito a protestare, il tecnico è praticamente d'obbligo. Come già detto, questa condizione che subirà per il resto dell'anno potrebbe anche rivelarsi utile per la sua crescita mentale.

Non era nemmeno quotato che sarebbe stato il primo....ogni anno migliora e ci mette un mese di meno

Presumo anche io che tale statistica non si tenga da molto tempo... Comunque il 41 in una stagione di Rasheed in singola stagione con le regole di oggi è quasi imbattibile.

Quindi farà regolarmente una partita sì e una no praticamente.

In questo video, 3 diverse azioni in 40 secondi e riesce a protestare 3 volte, è più attento a cercare l'arbitro per lagnarsi che a stare in partita (sempre nello spezzone proposto, intendo). Tra l'altro, in nessun caso aveva ragione.

Forse questa regola andrà a suo vantaggio, chissà che non impari a controllarsi e migliorare di testa.
