Of course you can count more but some basketball players women/men and football players rejected just because of security. Which means we can't say that it didn't affect. Some players reject but some of them choose Turkey because of money or carrier etc.

I know what Fethullahci are, and how Erdogan justificates the purge. I'm wondering how much it affects basketball.

Today Erdogan talks and maybe it will come funny but he said "We have been cheated from Fetullah for years my apologies to folks"

There is a religious formation in Turkey for years. Until 2012 they were together with Erdogan and they were supporting each other. Erdogan let them sneak all of deparments such as federations, judgment, military, education etc. They tried to take over Fenerbahce as well. But they couldn't. Just because of them Fenerbahce football team wasn't be able to go to Europe for 2 years. Now they are trying to clean it up right after coup.

Is there a purge also in the Turkish basketball, and have some players already expressed out loud that their departure or choice not to come in Turkey is due to political situation or concerns for their security and freedom?
