Financial problems for Galatasaray basketball teams

As reported by NTV Spor, after Zalgiris Kaunas and Asseco Prokom Gdynia, there is a third European powerhouse who is facing financial problems: Galatasaray.

The scandal exploded in the women basketball team with the WNBA star Lindsay Whalen who left the team writing on Twitter: 'Thank you to my teammates and coaches for everything during my time with Galatasaray! Unfortunately because the terms of my contract were not met I felt it was in my best interest to not continue with the organization. Thank you to the fans of Galatasaray!! Your support of the team and players is amazing!.'.

Galatasaray owe to the players of the women team two and half months of salaries.
But the problem is also for the men basketball team with the playes as Milan Macvan or Boniface Ndong who may leave in case of good proposal.

According to NTV Spor, Galatasaray has to pay to the players of both men and women team €3M by February 22.
