Galatasaray issued a statement: 'Karaman has contract with us'

Few hours after the official press released made Fenerbahce who announced the signing of Ilkan Karaman, Galatasaray replied on the official website saying that the player has a valid contract with the club through 2016. Galatasaray said that Karaman signed a long-term deal in 2010. According to Fenerbahce, the contract between the Nets draftee and Galatasaray was private and never sent to the Federation. Karaman was free agent, according to Fenerbahce. TBL will now decide whether the transfer is valid or not.
