Milan Macvan signed a two-year contract with Galatasaray Sports Club Istanbul, one of the most important clubs of Turkey. The Serbian power-forward decided to exit the contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv, thanks to the option at his disposal, and move to the Turkish team, that in the 2012/2013 season will compete at the highest level both in the Beko Turkish League and in the Eurocup. In the 2011/2012 season, Galatasaray Medical Park reached the semifinals of the Beko Turkish League, losing for 1-3 against the future National Champions of Besiktas after winning the Regular Season with a record of 25 wins and 5 losses, and also reached the Top 16 of Euroleague. The head coach Ergin Ataman - one of the most famous and important coaches in the history of Turkish basketball - was confirmed to lead the team for the 2012/2013 season. Milan Macvan played the 2011/2012 season on loan from Maccabi Tel Aviv to Partizan Belgrade, immediately becoming the team leader. He averaged 15.3 points per game, shooting with 63.9% from 2pt, 37.5% from 3pt and 83.3% from ft, adding 8.2 rebounds (best rebounder of the regular season!) for 19.8 of personal ranking in Euroleague (after being Finalist  in the Euroleague Final Four 2011), and led Partizan to conquest both the Serbian National Cup and the Serbian National Championship, and also played the Final Four of Adriatic League. He will come back to play in the Eurocup, after being awarded as "Eurocup Rising Star 2009".
