Jordan Farmar to be bought out, will play in Anadolu Efes
Il contratto del giocatore verrà rescisso oggi
As anticipated days ago, Jordan Farmar is heading to Anadolu Efes Istanbul. The player will be bought out by the Hawks today for $1.5 million. And once he clears waivers and is officially a free agent, Farmar, who played in Israel last summer during the NBA lockout, intends to go play in Europe, with Anadolu Efes, of Istanbul.
With Efes, Farmar will be once again rejoining two-time former teammate Sasha Vujacic, with whom he played on the Lakers and on the Nets.
"For me, it's great,'' Farmar said of his offer from Efes to NJ.com.
Farmar is believed to have been offered a three-year, $10.5 million deal with Efes. The Turkish club also would provide perks, like a place to live and a car for Farmar and his wife.
