Ergin Ataman: 'We are close to Kostas Kaimakoglou'

Coach Ergin Ataman spoke to Gazzetta.gr and confirmed that his new team, Galatasaray, is close to signing to a two-year deal Kostas Kaimakoglou. The Greek forward spent the last two years with PAO winning Euroleague in 2011 in Barcelona.

"We are close to signing Kostas Kaimakoglou. We made a good proposal to him and I think that there won't be any obstacle for his signing. I think that no later than Tuesday we will announce him. We offered to the player a two-year deal at nearly €1M per season. We like Schortsanitis too but we are considering 3-4 player at center. It depends on what kind of PG we are going to sign (Galatasaray made an offer to Carlos Arroyo). We'll see" said Ataman to Gazzetta.gr.
