Pops Mensah-Bonsu in talks with Besiktas and Galatasaray

Pops Mensah-Bonsu had a terrific season with Besiktas winning Eurochallenge, Turkish TBL and the National Cup. The British power forward is free agent and, according to his agency, is talking with Besiktas to re-sign and with Galatasaray.

Galatasaray hired Ergin Ataman who coached Besiktas in the last season and wants him in his new club. Pops is also targeted by Russian and Italian clubs.

The British player averaged a double double in points and rebounds in Eurochallenge (18.5ppg and 11.8rpg) while in TBL he scored 12.8ppg with 7.8rpg.
