Ergin Ataman: 'I have a serious proposal from Unics Kazan'

Ergin Ataman won everything this season with Besiktas Milangaz. The coach won Eurochallenge and TBL beating Anadolu Efes in the final. The coach talked about his future and Montepaschi Siena in an interview with Eurosport Turkey.
"My contract with Besiktas will expire at the end of June. The club is waiting for Milangaz, the sponsor, to understand if they will renew the sponsorship. I am waiting too because staying in Besiktas is my priority" said Ataman. "I got a serious offer from Unics Kazan. They are a strong team and they made the Euroleague Quarterfinals this season" added Ataman who talked about Mens Sana Siena with whom he won a Saporta Cup early in 2000. "Mens Sana will start a new project. Pianigiani had contacts in Turkey. Minucci wants to start a new project and I think that Bo McCalebb will leave the team. Talking with Minucci, he told me that Montepaschi will be the sponsor for the next two seasons. If Pianigiani leaves, Luca Banchi will be the strongest candidate to be the new head coach" ended Ataman.
