Besiktas pursuing Carlos Arroyo. Ibrahim Jaaber is the 2nd option

Besiktas is on the market since weeks for a replacement of Deron Williams, who returned in the NBA with the end of the lockout. The frontrunner for the Turkish team is Carlos Arroyo. The Puerto Rican is free agent but he wants to wait for a call from the NBA.

If Arroyo won't get a contract in the States, he likely signs with Besiktas, if Milangaz, the main sponsor of the team, approves the deal.

Ibrahim Jaaber, now free agent and last season with Olimpia Milano, is the alternative if the contract with Arroyo won't be finalized.
