Jonathan Gibson inks with Trabzonspor

U.S. comboguard Jonathan Gibson has inked an agreement for the 2011-'12 campaign with Trabzonspor in Turkey. The former graduate of New Mexico State (2010) spend his rookie season overseas in Turkey and Israel. After being 11 games (18,1 ppg - 3,9 rpg, 3,3 apg, 50,7% FG, 77,1% FT and 40,0% from behind the arc) with Oyak Renault (Bursa), the versatile backcourt performer left for Israel where he played for Ironi Ashkelon (16 games: 7,3 ppg, 46,9% FG, 73,3% FT and 33,9% from behind the arc). He did arrive today at Trabzonspor where he will be playing for head coach Tolga Ongoren.
