Besiktas in talks with David Hawkins and Benjamin Eze
Il primo ha già annunciato il suo addio, il secondo è in procinto di partire
Besiktas, after the impressive signing of Deron Williams, would like to make some shopping in Italy. The Turkish team agreed to terms with Virtus Bologna for Marcelus Kemp with Besiktas who has now to buyout the contract of the American to keep in Istanbul for next season and is targeting two players of Olimpia Milano: David Hawkins and Benjamin Eze.
Hawkins already left the team, as he announced via Twitter recently. The talks with 'Il Falco' started last week and few minutes ago, on Twitter, he admitted the could play for Besiktas next season.
Benjamin Eze has one year left on the contract with Olimpia Milano but the team wants to get rid of him because he is not in the plans of Sergio Scariolo (the coach and the Nigerian center worked together last season in Khimki but they did not have a good relation). Eze, who won four consecutive Serie A with Montepaschi Siena, moved to Khimki last summer, returning back to Italy after few months. With Armani Jeans Milano the center with Italian passport averaged 6ppg and 3.7rpg in 19 games played. Besiktas just started the talks with Eze and will make a formal offer soon.
The Turkish team meanwhile agreed to terms with Reha Oz for the coming season.
