Efes Istanbul keeps Guler through 2013
Il giocatore rinnova per due anni
Among the teams confirming players for next season the fastest, Efes Pilsen on Monday announced a new two-year agreement with guard Sinan Guler, who has already been with the club three seasons. Guler (1.92 meters, 27 years old) is coming off his best Turkish Airlines Euroleague season so far, having averaged 3.9 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1 steal in just 15 minutes per game off the bench. Guler made 55.9% of his two-point shots, the second-highest accuracy rate among Efes regulars, and he tied for eighth among all Euroleague players with 2.4 steals per 40 minutes. Guler had previously played for Besiktas and Darussafaka, both of Istanbul, before joining Efes, with whome he won the 2009 Turkish League and national cup crowns. Last summer, Guler won the silver medal at the 2010 World Championships with the Turkish national team.
