Rookie guard Mitchell Wilbekin has signed his first professional contract with Sakarya Buyuksehir of the Turkish BSL, the team announced.
Wilbekin comes from Wake Forest, where he averaged 8.6 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game while shooting 42.5% from 3-point range as a senior.
He is the younger brother of Maccabi Tel Aviv point guard Scottie Wilbekin.
