Turkish Basketball Federation changed the rule of the number of foreign players in Tahincioğlu Basketball Super League for 2 years.
Beginning from 2018-19 season, they decided to change the number of 6 foreign players per game roster to 5. Turkish Federation wants Turkish players to play more minutes.
President of the TBF said that, ''The opportunity of our Turkish players to play more minutes are extremely important for us. We took some steps in order to improve our basketball and we going to continue. It is our responsibility to strenghten our national team that makes us proud all the time.''
