Zanis Peiners expected to sign a deal with Darussafaka

Latvian forward Zanis Peiners is expected to sign a deal with Turkish side Darussafaka, a source told Sportando. Peiners received several offers from Turkey, VTB League, and Germany, sources tell Sportando, but in the end, the proposal from Darussafaka and the possibility of playing in Euroleague made the difference.

Peiners played a strong season in Lithuania with Lietkabelis, averaging 12.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game in Eurocup. The two sides are expected to finalize the deal soon, a source told Sportando.
