Brad Wanamaker was close to sign with the Sixers last summer

American guard Brad Wanamaker, currently under contract with Darussafaka Dogus in Turkey, was very close to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers last summer, as he told to David Pick in an interview. Wanamaker revealed that he spoke with Brett Brown, Sixers head coach, in the offseason and that a deal was very close to happening.

Wanamaker signed a two-year deal with Darussafaka but has an NBA out in his contract this summer.
