Hedo Turkoglu will be the new president of the Turkish Basketball Federation.
The former NBA forward will succeed Harun Erdenay who has decided not to participate in the next elections.
"I will not participate in the elections on October 26 against Hedo Turkoglu. And I wish success to the new president Hedo Turkoglu" Erdenay said, as reported by the Turkish media.
Turkoglu will be the only candidate in the next elections.
