Ergin Ataman: 'We have made an offer to Bargnani, we're waiting for his response'

Gala head-coach confirmed the news

Ergin Ataman, head-coach of Galatasaray, said that the team has made an offer to Andrea Bargnani and now they're waiting for his response. Galatasaray offered to Bargnani a 2 month deal, that's worth more money that Olympiakos offered him a week ago.

"We offered Bargnani a 2 months contract," said Ataman. "Now we're waiting for his response. We offered him more money than Olympiakos, we had some budget still in after Dorsey's departure."

I am a Milano fan and I just laugh at Ataman. Why would Bargnani play for Gala but not Milano ? They are both Eurocup teams and Milano can offer better conditions to Bargnani in Italy. He is just dreaming...

I think Gala need athletic and defender center beside Lasme. They have about 450k euro buget and they can find better players with this money for rest of the season. But if Gala take Bargnani, they will be more scorer in Turkish League.

He can be a game changer in Europe but I'm not sure that if he fits Galatasaray's game plan.In my opinion we should sign an athletic center who can protect the rim and make some rebounds.Lasme is having a huge season and we need a backup center not Bargnani
