Mithat Demirel becomes General Manager of Darussafaka Dogus Istanbul
In preparation for the Basketball Super League and Turkish Airlines Euroleague, Darussafaka Dogus Basketball Team acquires another member - this time for the administrative team. Mithat Demirel, former point guard of the German National Team and sports director for ALBA Berlin since 2010, became the general manager of the team.
Darussafaka Dogus Executive Board Member İbrahim Kutluay said: “We intend to fortify our administrative team for the new season as well. As part of our endeavors, Mithat Demirel was appointed General Manager to the team as of October 1, 2015. We wish him success in his new position."

About his new assignment, Mithat Demirel comments as follows: “Darussafaka Dogus has always been a well established club with very traditional roots and a big community in Turkey. Step by step we will build a strong and sustainable foundation on and off the court in order to achieve our new ambitious goals for the future.
