Pinar Karsiyaka keep Soner Senturk

Karsiyaka Izmir reached a new agreement with guard Soner Senturk to keep him in the team for one more season, the club announced Tuesday. Senturk (1.94 meters, 28 years old) averaged 2.9 points and 1.5 rebounds in 36 Turkish League games last season, his second with Karsiyaka. He started his career with Darussafaka Istanbul and also played for Turk Telekom Ankara, Bornova Belediye and Erdemirspor before joining Karsiyaka, to which he helped win the Turkish Cup title last season. Senturk has also been a member of the Turkish U16, U18 and B national teams.
