Bandirma Banvit is showing a lot of interest in Russian shooting-guard Anton Ponkrashov for next season. The rumor arrives from David Pick.

Despite the confirmed interest the deal is not imminent, a source close to the situation told Sportando. Banvit presented an offer for the player, but he needs time to make a decision.

Last season Ponkrashov played with Kransye Krylia Samara and Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar, averaging 13.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game with the first one and 6.9 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists with the second one.
