Langford won't get Turkish passport due to new rules on homegrown players in TBL
Keith Langford will not receive a Turkish passport
Due to the new rules in TBL on homegrown players, Keith Langford will not get his Turkish passport and will not play the FIBA World Cup with Turkish National Team.
The American guard of Olimpia Milano had an agreement with Turkish Federation to obtain the passport and he needed just to fly to Istanbul for a couple of days to get his new document.
But TBL changed the rules on foreigners for next season obliging teams to have 6 homegrown players in the roster and 6 no-homegrown players.
Keith Langord would play as no-homegrown player in TBL even with Turkish passport so the two parts decided to stop talks.
Emir Preldzic will play again with Turkish National Team at FIBA World Cup and Keith Langford, whose contract with Milano expire at the end of June, will remain only American.
