Mantzaris met with Olympiacos to talk about a contract extension

Vangelis Mantzaris met with the owner of Olympiacos at the offices of the shipping company Arcadia to talk abou a contract extension.

After ten minutes of talks, Aggeolopoulos left the meeting and Mantzaris and his agent continued to talk with George Skindilias, the vice president of the Greek powerhouse.

After one hour and half Mantzaris left without saying a word about his future.

Olympiacos said that there was no agreement but soon there will be another meeting because both parts expressed the will to sign a new contract.

Mantzaris’ side said that the offer made by the Reds was too low (he asked for 400.000 euros per season to extend the contract).

Galatasaray is interested in Mantzaris and they are ready to pay his buyout to bring him in Istanbul.
