Galatasaray say they don't intend to play Game 7 of TBL Finals
The team won't play for the title
What's happening in Turkey is quite incredible. Galatasaray announced that team rejected to play game 7 against Fenerbahce Ulker due to decisions of Turkish Basketball Federations.
The series between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce went to Game 7, after Gala forced the last round in Abdi Ikpeci Arena with a 85-77 victory in Game 6, but the fact started at the end of Game 2:
Fenerbahce Ulker won the game with a Final shot taken by Bo McCalebb, but there was a foul on Manuchar Markoishvili that burst nerves in the palace and pushed coach Ergin Ataman to say "that game was stolen"
Turkish Basketball Federation decided to punish Galatasaray fans for riots with the other supporters, disqualiyfing Abdi Ikpeci for game 6 and adjusting decision only later with the permission to open the palace for 5.000 women and children at most.
But Turkish basketball federation decided not to punish Fenerbahce Ulker for the events happened in Game 5 at Ulker Arena and for this reason president for Galatasaray announced the intention not to play the game.
