Ataman: Langford accepted to play for Turkey. Galatasaray is not interested in him

Galatasaray and Turkish National team head coach Ergin Ataman confirmed to GSTV that Keith Langford has accepted to play for Turkey.
“Keith Langford accepted to play for Turkish National Team. My only contact with Langford was to persuade him to play for us. Langford is the top scorer in EL this season and he's one of the most expensive players. We are not interested in expensive players like Langford. We cannot go beyond our budget. We will think about transfers after the playoffs” said Ataman. “Galatasaray have a great player structure and we don't want to lose this. All the players know each others well. We thank Gala fans because they gave us great power in most games this season. Galatasaray and Maccabi fans are the best fan groups in Europe. Both create impressive atmosphere for the host teams. I feel comfortable and happy with such a great fan atmosphere on the road to championship in Turkey” added Ataman. “ It was hard to concentrate on domestic league games after Euroleague weeks. This is why we lost 10 games in Tbl. Banvit dominated the domestic league but it shouldn't be forgotten that Galatasaray, Ulker and Efes gave concentration to EL" ended the coach.
