Ergin Ataman: Galatasaray totally deserves an Euroleague A License

Ergin Ataman talked with Basketball Federation Official Website about the Euroleague season.

“We made the Euroleague Playoffs despite a lot of injuries. Except for Arroyo and Erceg, we could not use for the entire season the other players due to injuries. The players who joined the team to replace the injured helped us but we could not make it to the Final Four. I think we represented Turkey successfully. Galatasaray totally deserves an Euroleague A License. We have a basketball tradition, organization, passion and great fans. Over the last three years Galatasaray played 1 semifinal and 2 finals plus we won the Turkish title. If Euroleague wants a great atmosphere like in the NBA, Abdi Ipekci and our fans are what they are looking for. We are working on getting a license. I hope that our results will be as all Galatasaray fans want” said Ataman.
