Ataman: 'We will recruit a great scorer for NT in the next two weeks'

Turkish National Team head coach Ergin Ataman said that in the next two weeks the Federation will recruit a new name.

The name should be Keith Langford, as reported by Sportando’s David Pick a few days ago.

“In the next two weeks a foreign scorer will join the National Team. We are in contact with different players because Turkey doesn’t have a good scorer. We want to use this player in the next FIBA World Cup in Spain. We need a scorer as Navarro in Spain or Belinelli in Italy” said Ataman. “I have not decided yet whether Hedo Turkoglu and Enes Kanter will be with us in Spain. Young Turkish players should be determined to be more efficient than players like Arroyo. And every Turkish coach should aim to be successful in Europe like Serbian coaches” added Ataman.
