Ergin Ataman says Galatasaray deserves the Euroleague A License
The coach spoke after the loss to Barcelona
After the loss in Euroleague Quarterfinals against FC Barcelona, Galatasaray head coach Ergin Ataman said that the Turkish powerhouse deserves the Euroleague A License.
“Galatasaray deserves the Euroleague A License. And we showed that Galatasaray needs Euroleague and Euroleague needs Galatasaray” said the Turkish coach. “It is not fair that we can play in Euroleague only if we win the Turkish league. We are working on getting the A License and we expect the support of Turkish Airlines and Turkish basketball federation” added Ataman. “Galatasaray is giving a big importance to the basketball team and in 4-5 years we will make a team that will always play for the Final Four” ended Ataman.
