Gherardini to become advisor for Turkish Basketball Federation?

Maurizio Gherardini could become soon an advisor of Turkish basketball federation.

Last November Maurizio Gherardini has been hired by the Thunder as a senior advisor/international affairs.

Gherardini, who was general manager of Benetton Treviso in Italy, has been also assistant general manager of the Toronto Raptors.

Gherardini was in Ankara last weekend with Turkish Federation President Turgay Demirel.

Gherardini has not signed any contract with Turkish Basketball Federation.

Turkey has to choose the new National Team head coach for FIBA World Cup after getting the wild card for the tournament in Spain
