Danilo Gallinari confirms he wants to play for Italy's National Team in September

Danilo Gallinari, contacted by La Gazzetta dello Sport, replied to Italy's National Team statements about his will to play for Italy.


"I will call him for sure, to understand why he said that. I confirm that I am available to play for Italy. When I talked with him one month ago I told him that I would have not played because the hand was still injured and the Clippers did not allowed me to play. But now the hand is healed and I would love to play to play for Italy. I will be back to Los Angeles soon to workout and talk with Clippers. The franchise has to allow me to play for Italy's National Team. But I don't see any problem considering I want to play. It is good also for them because the games of Italy are before the training camp and I would arrive in Los Angeles in shape. I would love to play for Italy in September."
