Bertomeu: No conflict with FIBA. Problem is their calendar incompatible with nowadays basketball
Bertomeu will meet with Baumann this week
EuroLeague CEO Jordi Bertomeu said that he will have a meeting with FIBA’s Patrick Baumann this week.
Bertomeu said that there are no conflicts between EuroLeague and FIBA and that the only problem is the new calendar.
Per Eurohoops, “There is no conflict with the FIBA. The problem is the FIBA calendar, which incompatible with the reality of basketball in the world, it’s horrible that the national teams play without their best players and we will make 14 more proposals if necessary to fix the problem”.
