Russia withdraws candidature to host 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup

The countries candidate to host the event in 2023 are: Argentina and Uruguay (joint) Japan, Philippines and Indonesia (joint)

Russia has decided to withdraws its candidature to host the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup.

After Turkey and Russia there are no European countries candidate to host the FIBA Flagship event in 2023.

The countries candidate to host the event in 2023 are:

Argentina and Uruguay (joint)
Japan, Philippines and Indonesia (joint)
