Finnish Sports Minister Sampo Terho sent Unicaja Malaga a letter, asking the Spanish team to let Sasu Salin join the national team for the FIBA World Cup Qualifiying games against Bulgaria and Czech Republic.
Unfortunately, the first game is scheduled for the same day of the EuroLeague game between Unicaja and CSKA Moscow.
Unicaja claims that the player can decide to join the Finnish national team, but he will be fined if he does not show up for the game vs CSKA.
