Unicaja Malaga's Dragan Milosavljevic said that the club plans to sanction those who decide to join their national teams for the World Cup qualifiers.
"Each and everyone of us would like to play for our national teams, it is a huge honor," Milosavljevic told Sportklub.rs. "Still, it is complicated… Unicaja did not let us go – they said that they can‘t keep us by force, but they also told us that we will be sanctioned if we go. We don‘t know what awaits back in Unicaja if we play in the FIBA qualifications, we weren‘t told what the punishment would be. We have got practices during that time…"
