Italian Legadue, the new rules for the upcoming season
Legadue will be divided in Gold and Silver
Italian Legadue will change format and rules from the upcoming season. LegAdue will be divided in two Groups: Gold and Silver.
In the Gold Group there will be the 14 teams from the actual Legadue, plus Biella relegated from Serie A and the winner of the Third Division Playoffs (DNA).
In the Silver Group there will be 13 teams form the actual third division (DNA) and three promoted from the Fourth Division (DNB).
Just one team will be promoted from LegAdue to Serie A at the end of the championship with eight teams making the playoffs.
The eight teams will be:
1. The first seven in the Gold Group
2. The best in Silver Group (automatically promoted in the Gold Group at the end end of the season).
The second promotion from Silver to Gold will come through playoffs made by teams from the second to the ninth position in the Group.
The last two of Gold Group will be relegated in Silver Group.
The last three of Silver Group will be relegated in the Fourth Division (DNB).
Playoffs are at the best of five games.
ROSTER COMPOSITION:
10 players
2 foreigners (also two extra EU Players).
1 with Italian passport (already in Italy before April 2012)
7 Italians (three must be Under 22)
Any team has two VISA available for the entire season (VISA is required for all the no EU Citizens)
