AS Monaco signs Derek Needham

AS Monaco signed playmaker Derek Needham for the coming season, the club announced on Friday. Needham (1.80 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Moran Bar, which he led to its maiden Montenegrin League championship and the Adriatic League playoffs last season. He averaged 17.0 points, 4.8 assists and 1.2 steals in 25 Adriatic League games. Needham ranked second in the league in scoring, fifth in assists and ninth in steals among qualified players. He has previously played for Siauliai in Lithuania, Khimik Yuzhne in Ukraine, Loewen Braunschweig in Germany and Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia in Italy.
