Jeep Elite to have 16 teams while Pro B will have 20 teams from 2020-2021

LNB announced the strategic plan for the future of Jeep Elite and Pro B.

The plan was approved after 10 months of meeting and more than 100 people involved.

Here some keys:

- Jeep Elite will have 16 teams (from 18) and Pro B will have 20 teams (now 18) from 2020-2021

- Define by the end of the next season the formula of promotions/relegations

- Strengthen the identity of Pro B league

- Reduce to 1 the number of no-European/Cotonou players in Pro B

- Increase the minutes for young French players with financial incentives

- Modernize the basketball arenas

- Create two recruitment windows (in summer and winter) with the possibility of a single recruitment between the two windows and reduce the numbers of medical jollies

- Freely offer the images of LNB competitions

- Gain visibility on television.
