ASVEL to join EuroLeague in one year?
EuroLeague CEO Jordi Bertomeu spoke with French radio RMC Sport (via BeBasket) on Monday.
“There are chances for ASVEL to play in EuroLeague in the season 2018-2019” Bertomeu said. “There is nothing guaranteed, we will make a decision at the appropriate time. But there is no doubt that ASVEL will be at the top of the ranking on the choice of French teams for EuroLeague. We have a good relationship with Tony Parker. His project in Villeurbanne is very interesting” Bertomeu added.
