Heiko Schaffartzik says he wants to remain with Limoges CSP for the season
The German guard has a contract till June but he can opt out of the contract on December 20
Heiko Schaffartzik told Francebleu that he wants to remain with Limoges CSP for the season.
“I am happy in Limoges and I want to stay” Schaffartzik said.
The experienced German guard has a contract for the season with Limoges CSP but he may also opt out on December 20.
The French back-to-back champions recently offered Schaffartzik a contract till June 2017 but he turned it down. A few days ago Limoges made a second offer to Schaffartzik: to remain with the team for the season cancelling the opt out clause.
The German player turned down the proposal again.
On Wednesday Limoges made a press release saying that Schaffartzik has to give a final answer by the end of the week if he wants to remain for the season or Limoges will opt out on December 20.
Now Schaffartzik said he wants to stay.
