Mark Payne signs with Limoges

French League champion Limoges CSP reached an agreement with swingman Mark Payne to work together for the next two seasons, the club announced Monday. Payne (2.03 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket, where he averaged 15.1 points, 5 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 30 French League games last season. He ranked third in performance index ranking (18.3 per game) in the French League last season. Payne played the 2011-12 Turkish Airlines Euroleague with Unicaja Malaga, averaging 2.6 points in 7 games. Payne has also played for PAOK Thessaloniki and Panionios ON Telecoms Athens in Greece, as well as for Clinicas Rincon in Spain.
