Limoges CSP brings Trent Plaisted back
The player returns to the French team
The French champion Limoges CSP bolstered its frontcourt ahead of the club's return to the Turkish Airlines Euroleague by signing center Trent Plaisted to a one-year deal that was announced Monday night. Plaisted (2.11 meters, 28 years old) returns to Limoges after having already played there in the second half of the 2012-13 season, when he averaged 8.3 points and 5.6 rebounds in 18 games. Last season, he played with ratiopharm Ulm of Germany, helping the team to a place in the Eurocup Eighthfinals while posting 9.7 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists. Plaisted also has brief Euroleague experience with Zalgiris Kaunas, for whom he averaged 7.7 points and 5.7 rebounds in three Turkish Airlines Euroleague Top 16 games in 2011. After the end of his college career at the Brigham Young University, Plaisted started his professional journey with Biella in Italy. He also played with Zadar and Cedevita Zagreb in Croatia, Cherkasy in Ukraine and Aliaga Petkim in Turkey.
