Spurs draftee Livio Jean-Charles done for the season

ASVEL Villeurbanne announced that Livio Jean-Charles won't play this season.

The young player selected by the Spurs with the 28th overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft tore his ACL last summer during Eurobasket U20.

Jean-Charles has not played this season and he won't return for the final part of the French Pro A.

"Livio won’t play this season. The Spurs want to protect him. For them it is better not no risk” said Pierre Vincent, head coach of ASVEL Villeurbanne to Le Progres. "Next season? This is what was expected. One more season with us. But we will see now” added Vincent.
