Thomas De Thaey comes from Okapi Aalstar
Leicester Riders have signed 6’9″ Belgian forward Thomas De Thaey ahead of the BBL season.
De Thaey joins from Okapi Aalstar following a very positive season with the team averaging 5.8 points and 3.9 rebounds per game in the top league in Belgium helping his team to a fifth place finish and a semi-final spot in the Belgian Cup.
De Thaey will join the team today in Leicester in preparation for action against the Portland Pilots on Thursday
