Kaun: I'll decide my future after the season. My desire is try to play

Sasha Kaun spoke with Championat about his future.
The Russian big man is targeted by the Cleveland Cavaliers who own his NBA rights. Kaun has played under coach Blatt with Russian National Team winning the bronze medal at Olympics in London in 2012.

Is it true that you've informed CSKA that you won't resign with them for next season?
I'm waiting for the season's end to decide what is the best for me. The final decision will be made after I talk on the matter with my wife. It's important for me to keep my family happy and around.

But if you receive an interesting proposal from Cavs?
It's my desire to try myself in NBA. And if I still have a proper interest and motivation for basketball, I'm ready to play for some more years.

Kaun added that Timofey Mozgov's presence at Cavs is not an additional motivation, but a bonus - “it would be fun to play alongside my countryman”.
