Cluj wins 3-0 the championship series against Steaua
UBT Cluj Napoca won 2017 Romanian title, time number 5 of own history after the last one in 2011 season, thanks to the perfect 3-0 in the final series against Steaua Bucharest.
Cluj Napoca, after the first place in regular season and the victory of the national cup, eliminated the recent champions of Oradea in semifinal, while across Steaua surprised Sibiu 3-1 to reach the finals.
In a really balanced championship series Cluj celebrated away the 2017 success (75-61), after the first two home wins. Barro was amazing in the finals with 17.3ppg and 11.3rpg, but important also the help of Dykes, Pustozvonov and Moldoveanu, against the attempts of Runkauskas for Bucharest.
