Jason Kapono: 'I will decide my future in the coming days'

Jason Kapono wrote an open letter for the Panathinaikos official site explaining why he did not fly to Athens last Sunday. The player said that he had a family problem who kept him in America.

"I did sign a contract with Panathinaikos and I was expected to land in Athens last Sunday. But then I had a family problem which delayed my departure for Greece. My situation is still unclear. My agents and Panathinaikos are in contact every day. I will decide in the coming days if I can join Panathinaikos or not. PAO is one of the most legenday clubs in Europe and I was excited to join them. I want to thank to club who is understanding my situation giving to me full support" wrote Kapono.
