Guo Ailun's parents want their son to sign with Panathinaikos

Recently, a possible trade of Guo Ailun, young guard of LiaoNing Dragon Club to Panathinaikos became the focus of the whole chinese basketball.

Wu Qinglong, head coach lo LiaoNing confirms that Guo Ailun’s parents have talked to him, and hope their son can go abroad. Wu believes an Ruropean experience is good for Ailun, but there are still many problems because of Guo’s NT player identity.

“Not long ago, Guo Ailun’s parents talked to me, they hope that Ailun can go abroad to play. From the player’s point of view, an experience in Greece will be very useful. But after all, he still belongs to LiaoNing, and the club needs him. If he wants to leave LiaoNing, many things, many interests of club and Administration of Sports of LiaoNing will be involved in it, because Guo Ailun is also a NT player. So until now, there isn’t any conclusion.” Wu Qinglong said.

Last time when Wu Qinglong and Guo Ailun’s father received an interview, both of them said Guo Ailun will not go to Greece this season. (Wu said Ailun can get more training in China than in Greece, and Ailun’s father said he prefers his son to stay in LiaoNing). But their opinions have totally changed in only two days. 

(Maybe they were controlled by some pressure? Because when Ailun’s father received an interview before the Olympic Games, he also said that he wants his son to go aborad to learn basketball. It’s a change of “Yes-No-Yes”)

Beside, Guo Ailun’s uncle, ex head coach of Chinese NT, Guo Shiqiang said he totally supports his nephew to Greece, and will impart some knowledge and experience to him. (Guo used to learn basketball in Japan as player, and in Spain as coach).
