Panathinaikos lands Vassilis Xanthopoulos

Panathinaikos officially announced the signing of Vassilis Xanthopoulos. The 28-year old point guard is returning to the 6-time Euroleague champions, after having played there in 2004-05 and 2006-07. The Greek point guard spent the last season in Panionios and lead him to the 3rd place of the Greek league and the Eurocup qualification. Xanthopoulos has also played for PAOK and Panellinios and has won several medals with the youth NTs (bronze in U18 EC, silver in U19 WC and bronze in U17 WC) in his career.
