Zeljko Obradovic: 'I want to stay but it is not my decision'

Il coach fa capire di voler restare ma ancora c'è da limare qualche cosa

Greece

Zeljko Obradovic talked after Game 4 won by Panathinaikos against Olympiacos with the Greek Final who will be decided next Saturday. Obradovic, despite our report from the afternoon, said that the game might have been his last one at OAKA as PAO's head coach.
Obradovic met Panathinaikos' ownership in the last days. Giannakopoulos family wants him to stay as head coach but some details have to be finalized. The coach wants to see Panathinaikos maintaining the promises.

"Honestly, I believed that this was my last game in OAKA and probably the last game in SEF. It’s not a question if I like to continue. Never the question was that. It will not matter also if we win the championship or not. Nothing to do with this. Our season was excellent. The results doesn’t matter. Is it normal situation to be the coach of one club after 13 years" said Obradovic, as reported by Eurohoops.net.

It was pointed out to him that Sir Alex Ferguson is the coach of MU football team for 25 years and his reaction was: “I love this club. I love Panathinaikos. I would like to stay 36 years, but it’s not my decision”
